One of the most common types of cancer. Especially dangerous for smokers, but not only for them. Risk of lung cancer can be dramatically raised also by secondhand smoke, that you breathe.
The most common type of lung cancer is non-small cell lung cancer. We are aware of 3 different types of it:
- adenocarcinomas
- Squamous cell carcinomas
- Large cell carcinomas
Symptoms for early forms of lung cancer are mainly cough, shortness of breath and loss of appetite.
